Research > Senior Project

Bard College, May 2011

For my senior year thesis, I worked on a year-long research project titled Delaunay Diagram Representations for Use in Image NearDuplicate Detection, in which I investigated Voronoi diagrams based on the Harris corner detector (using a default threshold) as an image segmentation technique for automatically adjusting the threshold. For the project, I explored Delaunay triangulation diagrams as a measure of similarity between images.

I published the thesis in the Bard Digital Commons and presented the poster at the Bard Senior Poster Session. You can also read the full Senior Project thesis here.
